His writing on racial injustice in America was the mainspring that introduced
Nike Equality
The premier film featured Lebron James, Serena Williams, and other athletes taking a stand over the powerful voice of Alicia Keys singing a heart stirring cover of Sam Cook’s “A Change is Gonna Come”.
In 2019, along with his four-legged companion, Rocky, Kervs transplanted to Europe where he took a Sr. Creative role with Wieden + Kennedy, Amsterdam

Most recently, as Creative Director overseeing the Corona beer account at W+K Amsterdam, Kervs ushered the brand through a global centennial campaign.

Currently Kervins is available for freelance globally. Projects that require experience-earned empathy and soulful, evocative language are where he can have the most impact.
Until then, Kervins will be tending to his most important role, raising two little women with his partner since summer 2021.
